Hi
It all depends on what your definition of success is, If you want to make a ten percent return per year, the yes you can definitely succeed. However if you want to make a living and quit your job then £1,000 or dollars will not be enough.
People come into forex and think about monetary gains, when in truth its pips and percentage gains that they should be concerned with. £1,000 is more than enough to get started with but don’t think you will change your world and be able to quit your job with that amount.
You have to have strict money management rules to succeed in the Forex game and a lot of patience. A big problem is a lot of traders are under capitalised for the amount of money they dream of making.
My advice would be to start slow, build a track record and then look for investors to put up money you can trade.
